Mica painting refers to adding a mixture of oil and mica to the top of wet cold process soap. Loofah soaps are easy to make with this technique. To avoid any imperfections on your bath bomb, make sure to direct pressure to the edges of the mold rather than the center.

Gently stir to combine the food coloring and soap mixture. Melt the base, add extras, and cut the loofahs in the color of your choice so they fit in the mold. Combine with a spoon or a paintbrush.
