Environmentally sustainable facilities at 610 S. Michigan Avue. Designed by Chicago-based Krueck and Sexton Architects, the building features interconnected interior spaces and an unusual floor-to-ceiling window wall that offers views of the Chicago skyline, Grant Park, and Lake Michigan. This window wall is constructed of 726 pieces of glass in 556 different shapes.

Like the surrounding buildings, many of which were built during the architectural revolution following the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, this building is forward-thinking in its design and use of materials, while remaining respectful of its surroundings.

Like the bays of the 19th century residents, the fragments that create the dynamic crystalline form of the facade allow light to enter the narrow building, while opening the blissful views from inside.

The geometry of the facade is unique because the surface is always tilted in three dimensions, resulting in the individual glass units being parallelograms rather than rectangles.

At the same time, the average size of each glass panel on the facade is made up of the standard-sized windows of the buildings up and down Michigan Avenue.

The Spertus Building is the first new construction in the Michigan Boulevard Historic District since the area was designated a Chicago Landmark in 2002. The cost of the Spertus project is more than 50 million dollars.

Wow, what a unique and beautiful place in downtown Chicago! I couldn’t have imagined a more dreamy place for our Bengali wedding. All of our guests were in awe of the venue and it created an energy that resonated throughout our evening. It is also very convenient for big hotels like The Hilton and Marriott Blackstone, and it is very convenient for guests. Jessica, Anna, Shiela and the team are so lovely and great to work with! They shaped us as much as possible by setting strong boundaries. I wish we had a few hosting options to choose from, but we absolutely love our host no matter what!

We drove around Chicago trying to find a great venue that would have room for a fairly large wedding (300’s, maybe mid-sized by Indian standards). When I saw VenueSIX10, I instantly fell in love. It is elegant, modern and minimalist. …The white palette gives you the freedom to unleash your imagination in your event. We’ve actually adjusted the guest count a bit, so we’ll be having a wedding there. It was great working with the team at SIX10, they were very flexible and accommodating. The wedding day was smooth and uneventful. We have our mandapa in front of the big windows, and it looks great in real life and in photos. We also had our Sangeet there due to some changes after our wedding was postponed due to COVID, and I was happy to have an evening event as well. I will definitely consider using it in the future. Thank you to everyone at VenueSIX10 for making our wedding so special!

We had a dream day in the SIX10 Room. Whitney, Jeremey and the entire team were wonderful to work with. The place was absolutely perfect – a blank canvas, the location and the view was impossible to beat.

This place is amazing and Whitney and Jeremy were very accommodating to our wishes. Our guests constantly tell us that they are in awe of the views from this place, and rightly so. Also, Whitney and Jeremy responded immediately to all of our last minute changes and were very honest and accommodating. They made the planning and wedding day stress free for my husband and I and we are forever grateful.

The place was amazing, and everything turned out perfect. The only problem we had was getting answers from the event coordinator on the spot, but once we had the route everything went smoothly.

This place is truly amazing. It is a modern, beautiful and unique space that gives you a lot of room for creativity. Views of Buckingham Fountain, Grant Park, Navy Pier and Lake Michigan are some of the best in the city. We had our wedding on a Saturday night and had the perfect view of the fireworks from Navy Pier, which all of our guests loved. The staff at Venue Six10 were great and easy going throughout the process. They answered all of our questions and were very accommodating to our special needs. Recommended for your wedding venue!

My husband and I love Venue Six10 because it’s so different from all the hotels we’ve seen. We loved the views, the terrace and the large windows. The open floor plan was also nice because we didn’t have to worry about ugly rugs and wallpaper getting in the way of our ceremony and reception. We also love that the catering is in-house and kosher, which we need. Ashley, from catering, was amazing and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. The food was amazing and all our guests were impressed. The only problem we encountered was that the person we were working with left after a few months, and we were transferred to someone else. Sheila Cronin is not helping at all. He did not respond to our emails, and came to us with questions that we had already discussed with his predecessor. Other than that, we had a great experience and love our place.
